Thinking Good Thoughts

Think Wake and Dice-K are having a chuckle over the recent medical misfortunes of the Yankees?

Word out today is Chien-Ming Wang pulled a hammy, and is out at least a month. Plus, Andy Pettite just returned to throwing after experiencing back spasms. This, combined with Giambi's back, Posadas knees, Matsui's recovery from his hand injury, and A Rod's permanent case of P.M.S. has me filled with glee.

After last years injury run for the Red Sox, it's about time the Yankees had to scramble a little. I know they lost Sheffield and Matsui for an extended period last year, but I'm avoiding that topic for the sake of this post.

Here's to a HEALTHY year for the boys this year.

Lord knows they've earned it.

  4. Well you boys didn't post from Furn Market today, so I'm guessing you were in meetings or hiding from management. :) Hopefully a few customers thrown in there, too.

I'll be there for the fun and frivolity tomorrow. Yippee.

  8. Stacy, we actually posted from the IHF today, but on Tex's blog. Go check it out. She's quite the poet!

Ok, technology trips me out. I'm typing this in the backseat of the car on the way home from the market, and everything's fine. Last night, I was sitting still, in my room, and I kept losing my connection on my wi-fi. What gives?

  9. Man, you girls sure have a thing about Tek. The other day, my little girl turned on the TV, and it happened to be on a Sox preseason game, and Tek was up to bat. She starts pointing and talking!

Stacy, we did have customers today...MY customers! It's a heavy load to bear Teddy and Keith around all market!

  25. Hey Bub: yeah, we saw a few people today, but not many. Not to much rubbing elbows with the muckity mucks: I had behind fake trees a lot to avoid talking to them.

Pretty funny: we were sending Tex a message on her blog, and his voodoo computer thing kept disconnecting when he would try to post. THEN, as I'm driving us home, he's in the back seat posting here!

I was afraid of that: you know you have to get a normal hat to go to Baltimore with us. I refuse to be seen with you wearing an altered Sox hat: you don't mess with the classics Scotty!
