Happy Birthday

Today is Angies birthday, and while I can't say how old she is, it's somewhere north of 21 and south of 85.

For putting up with her insane husband, pre-teen daughter, and Rakes and Trot, aka The Devil Dogs, she deserves a weekend away all by herself.

Instead, she gets dinner at Red Lobster and a night without kids, who are staying with my in-laws. Sorry darlin', we'll do the Hawaii trip in about 20 years or so. If you can figure out a way for me to pass out for 18 hours or so to fly in the plane.

So, a very happy birthday to the best Mom, wife, and friend I could ever have asked for. She puts up with more than she should have to, particularly from the supposed "other adult" in the house. If I had to do what she does on a daily basis, I'd end up wandering the street muttering "how does something so small make something that big come out of their body?"

Happy Birthday Ang: you're the best.

Now, can someone tell me how I can convince her that it's a present for HER if I watch Beckett pitch tonight?

Just record the game and watch it later. It'll go much faster without all the commercials. Angie deserves your undivided attention for more than 10 minutes. :)

Just got home, after dinner and shopping. We reached a perfect compromise: I watch the rest of the game and she finish shopping!

I come in, it's 3-1 White Sox: since I've been home, Tek walked, Hinske bunted, Lugo bunted, and Crisp just hit a bases clearing triple: 4-3 Sox!!

I'm good luck.

Happy One week anniversary Christine! Still want to see the wedding pictures when you get the chance.

I'm shocked and happy to see Timlin pitching so well. Good to see.

I'll pass along your wishes to Ang when she gets back from shopping!

GO SOX!

Holy buckets!

If I had not been watching it myself, I would never believe--Lugo hits a grand slam.....

and the Yankees are losing 10-1 to the Devil Rays...

hahahahahahaha!

You are killing me!!

LUGO! What a great game: 10-3 AND the Yankees get embarrassed at home.

Life is GREAT.

I hope that Angie had a very, happy birthday - You can't go wrong with a babysitter for the kids, Red Lobster & shopping! And maybe you can play that Rolling Stones song for her TD (if she likes the Stones)- lol.

I miss the game last night, and Tito gets tossed & the Sox win (yay)!

Haven't posted at my blog for ages, been busy. But if I did today it would be titled "Kason Goes Rolling Along, Hoovers Up White Sox Batters."

He's a keeper.

Hey John: my local affiliate didn't show the game, but I followed on Game Day some in between taking the kids to the pool for awhile.

Gabbard has looked really impressive this year: and is a keeper 100%. On the blog, I keep checking for pics of the trip with Tex, SotB, etc..!

Carol, just realized I missed your post: glad you and D had a fun time seeing the Wiggles. Yeah, I missed Tito getting tossed also. He's so easy going it's pretty funny when he gets amped up enough to get run!

Great wins last night, and tonight: hope you see this, since I've posted a new one already.
