I have no idea if this will work.
My Mom and Pop took Ang and I out to dinner tonight so we could have a break.
I asked my niece Libby, who helped my sister Stacy babysit, to video some stuff. I saved 5 different ones, and this was the best of the bunch. You get Trot hamming it up, Ciera being her prissy self, and Rakes being Rakes for a brief instant.
As a bonus, you also get him telling his cousin Jared about the difference between Darth Vader's Red light saber and a blue light saber. Trust me, this is important stuff.
At least to a 4 year old with a Star Wars obsession.
Hope you enjoy a little insight into a day in the life of the RSD.
More to come.
Thanks, Tex. I couldn't have done it without you.

Trot sure does know how to work the camera, doesn't he?
He's a natural ham, Dawn. And yes, it took me over 3 hours and an email from Tex to figure out how to do that.
I. Am. Idiot.
Trot reminds me of the family down in FL. The saddest thing is I think that the baby I'm talking about is younger than Trot and is bigger than him.
And is there a reason why Rakes was on the counter or just being well...Rakes?
Red Sox Spring Break is in an hour, so much to look forward in my life.
You know, I remember when that child sitting placidly on the left was as active as Rakes.
And I'm Karen, not Nicolas - but he remembers, too...
Well that was a nice video. When are you going to put up the one with Trot, Rakes and Ciera? I am amazed at how much they've grown over these past few months. I wonder if they will remember us? I'm sure Ciera will but I'm not certain about Rakes and Trot. IKES!
Showing video like that is going to make everybody think you're making up all this "axis of evil" stuff. You need to have cousins Jerry, Lib, and Aunt Stacy over more often, me thinks. It's never that quiet over there!
Oh, Caroline loves the video. She's calling out everyone's name, then asking for more when it finishes. You made her happy, so all your efforts were worth father.
And Trotty is starting to look like Peter Frampton circa "Frampton Comes Alive."
Trot is a ham. Rakes is just Rakes. Ciera needs to take lessons from Trot.
Very cute video Ted
It actually seemed much more chaotic in real life. :)
The were good, just very BUSY!
Love the Oklahoma shirt on Trot! Great video, Tedders!
ok so just who is going to help Angie out during TedapaLOOza??
Great video, Ted. Takes me back to Christmas.
Love the way Trot loads up his spoon but still uses his fingers to eat:)
Krystle, just Rakes being Rakes.
Karen, I remember those days too. It's what's keeping me from losing my mind. ;)
Mattie, I know. They act like wild animals most of the time, and when I get a video they act normal. Glad Caroline liked it, and Trot is getting rather shaggy.
Tex, Ciera is usually talking a mile a minute. Don't know what got into her. I may try to catch another one tonight. As far as Tedapalooza, between my folks and hers, she'll manage without me. Let's be honest, I don't do all that much anyway. ;)
Horsham, He's really careful to get it on the spoon, then just manges!
Glad everybody liked the video.
Becks, my sisters in OK keep both boys decked out in Sooner or OSU Cowboy gear. Helps my wallet.
"Trot is getting a little shaggy."
That's all I get after a Frampton reference?! I thought that was some of my best work of late, and that's all I get?!!
Sorry, bro. Feel like crap and I'm whooped. It WAS a great line; sorry I didn't give you your props.
This working 6 days a week is for the birds, man.
Hey Ted,
Bravo on the video, welcome to the club.
Trot seems pretty adept at that spoon, if that was Sierra she'd have it all over her, we only let her have a spoon with dry stuff. maybe it's also time we stop babying her as well. Hope the second half of your weekend gets better for you.
Hey Stephen,
He's pretty good with it, but it's like Horsham said. He gets it on the spoon, then STILL eats with his fingers!
Thanks, man. Hope tonight and tomorrow are good for you too.
I wouldn't have figured it out if it wasn't for Tex!
Too bad I wasn't on earlier, i woulda had your back. I've been extremely busy today loading up my new laptop. yes, now i can chat nights now, although i don't know if sg is my cup of tea anymore. the girls far outnumber the guys there now and it's seeming like the social quilting circle of late. it badly needs an injection of testosterone, despite red and denton's posts.
I'd like to get a laptop one day. Sadly, all my disposable income goes toward diapers, food, and band aids. Trot ran into the sofa tonight and a golf ball appeared on his forehead.
I wish I could get on SG during the day, but Mon-Sat I'm working. You might want to email JB about some other sites; he said something about finding some other sites a while back.
I like the fact it's such a diverse place. And when baseball starts, it's pretty much all Red Sox, all the time. Especially at night.
since WHEN did we start sewing on SG??
Stephen, I knew that was coming.
Tex, HE said it, not me. ;)
Please direct all complaints to the dude with the red beard.
and further more...we can't help it if there aren't more male baseball fans than females ;)
Again, I'm FINE with it!
Stephen, I stay in enough trouble all on my own. Any comments you have that will rile Tex up, please post those at HER blog. ;)
im not riled. yet
Well, if you DO get riled, just aim your fire in the direction of Vermont, not NC. ;)
I'm late but I like the way that Redbeard dude talks.
I think the video is rigged. Mattie, frampton comes alive! Ive been telling Ted that, I'm working on a Frampton picture right now I may dedicate it to Trot.
The video isn't rigged. I think Stacy slipped them a valium in the apple juice.
i have relatives in NC. i would never direct anything there. no worries.
im just messin with stephen anyway.
oh Scottie SoonerBoy...UT beat OU tonight not that i care...but YOU DO :)
Bub, are going to take that kind of trash talking from a Texan?
This birthday of yours has affected you deeper than I ever thought.
