Why does Manuel keep believing in Lidge, when Lidge keeps proving him wrong?
How do you get the first two batters out in the 9th, and then give up 3 runs???
Trust me. As a follower of the Phils all year, Lidge has done this time and time again. He simply cannot come into the game in the 9th and just get all three of the first batters out. He ALWAYS allows base runners, if not runs. ALWAYS!
Two outs, no one on base, and he allows 3 runs!!!!!!!
Completely and totally INEXCUSABLE!
I am more than disgusted.
Matty, I feel your pain. Gotta be tough to see him come in, even with such a great year last year. I couldn't believe it ended up that way last night. :(
