Fenway Park

Have you ever seen a more dumbfounded look in all your life? This was taken minutes after I walked into Fenway Park for the first time by Rob; I don't even remember this pose. I think I was so awestruck at actually being there I went blank. To my credit, I didn't cry. Although I'll admit the hair on the back of my neck was standing up.

Saturday was better, though. I got the championship banners out on Yawkey Way...

The player banners that I didn't even know were there...

And even got a picture of the Ted Williams statue with Rob, JB, hayes, and Josh.

Caught the Gagne reunion during batting practice...

Got my picture taken with Wally... (Sadly, not the REAL Wally)
And thanks to Kelly, I had a seat that was so awesome even my cheap camera could take a good shot of the boys slapping hands while "Dirty Water" played in the background.

I couldn't have asked for a better weekend; a 3 game sweep, great seats, and even better friends. I can't wait to do it again.

I cant believe it went so fast.

Tell me about it, Tex.

I waited 37 years, then 6 months after buying the plane ticket, and it went by in a blur. :(

I can't wait until next year.

What a fabulous time. And *sweet* seats. Did you make it to Boston Beer Works? I seriously miss that place...

Actually I have seen that kind of look before. It was outside of Grand Central Station, New York City, NY. I'm surprised we all didn't end up at the chiropractor's office the next day. I am glad that you had a great time in Boston. Hey maybe next year, Little C might like to go!

Nichole, never did make the Beer Works. The doubleheader Saturday kind of threw us off. Still, I can't imagine a better time.

Edge, yeah I'd guess NYC would do that to a person. I'll probably take the whole crew in a couple of years when Trot is old enough.

Dude, that pic of you with gaping mouth is classic! Ang needs to blow that one up and put it over the mantle. Looks like you had a blast, bro. Glad you were able to do it.

There was another one they took where I looked even more like a goober. I do have some standards.

You almost made *me* cry, your joy is so obvious. It's practically tangible. It just defies words to actually be there, doesn't it? =)

June 23rd cant come soon enough

Dawn, joy is perfect; other than getting married and the birth of my children, that may have been the happiest I've ever been! It was surreal and I can't wait to get back.

Krystle, the first game was in a loge seat behind 1B and the other 2 were in the outfield, but they were great as well. Have a blast in June!

Ted, my friend, we miss you terribly already. So glad you had such a great experience, and we want you & Ange & the kids to come visit us in Burlington sometime soon.

Jane, I miss you guys too. Thanks again for such a fantastic weekend; you and Rob are beyond awesome. One of these days I'll bring the brood up North, but you may be sorry. ;)

Meanwhile, you and Rob have a standing invitation here.

Oh! My mom works with someone who has season tickets in between home plate an on-deck. I'd love to sit in Lodge Box near first base. My camera? Not so much.

Krystle, my crappy little camera took some great shots, so if the seat is good enough, you've got no worries.

I cried. I'm not ashamed of it. I almost cried like a baby. Then I called my Mom and Dad. What is it about that place that can make a grown man cry? It's like magic or something.
