Sox beat the Orioles 7-4.
Paul freaking Byrd gets another win, and the go ahead runs come courtesy of a Munchkin single late in the game, much to the chagrin of Gary Thorne.
Good; I hope that dink decides to go play in traffic on the Mass Pike tomorrow afternoon; go back to calling hockey games and leave the big boy sports to the professionals.
I'm signing the petition tomorrow for Pedie for MVP; and yes, I'm loving the fact the 5 ft, 6 inch second baseman is wreaking havoc on the playoff picture. You can have your Carlos Quentin's and Arod's all day long; I'll take the midget with the chip on his shoulder 7 days a week.
It's September 1st and a win is a win is a win; right now, I could care less how we do it.
Just make the playoffs and let God sort 'em out.

If i didnt know any better, I'd swear Pedie was 6 ft tall
He's like the Tardis from Dr Who: he's six feet tall on the inside.
Tex and Horsham, he definately plays like he's 6 foot tall and bulletproof. He's an icon for the vertically challenged everywhere.
Pedie is my hero. He's tall enough for me to look up to him. Of course, the Munchkins from the Wizard of Oz are almost tall enough for me to look up to them.
Hey Brenken! Enjoyed seeing the pictures from Bridget/Brenken Palooza. Hate I couldn't be there; maybe you can come up next May when Tom, Tex, and myself will be there.
