This one's for Tex and Dawn

For Tex, Bobby Kielty.

For Dawn, Mikey Lowell.

Both pictures courtesy of Kelly at sittingstill.net.

'Cause I've got NOTHING for tonight. No Red Sox news, no tales of Rakes committing a felony, and nothing on Baby Trot and his baby steps into a life of crime.

I now know how the news media feels when the best story they've got is the one where the man actually does bite the dog. Hopefully tomorrow I can come up with something other than 2 pictures and a bunch of nonsense; though I wouldn't hold my breath.

Best I can manage is Rakes slammed the door to the study/Sox shrine and shattered the glass on the frame holding my Beckett ESPN The Magazine cover; I just put the thing back on the wall. I figured Beckett wouldn't care, so why should I?

Sorry I couldn't come up with anything more substantial.

What can I say?

Some days you're the windshield and some days you're the bug.

Night, Tex.

Have a great day tomorrow. I think I'm going to follow your example.

(Mark it down in the record book)

Headed to bed myself.

Carol, you are messing with my promise.

Are you not holding your breath over Tex going to bed, or the fact Rakes and Trot didn't commit a felony today?

Sometime in the twenties, in the early radio days, a BBC news reader said something like 'There was no news today, so here's some music.'

Calm in the Dalton household. Hell must be chilly today.

Enjoy it while it lasts.:)

Horsham, I guess even the wicked need a day of rest. It was a strange thing to see.

I expect destruction and mayhem to commence any minute now.

Even Shakespeare had an off day. I'm sure of it.

Pretty sure.

Well maybe not so sure.

Hey, want some nachos?

Ted D said...

Why not Stephen?

Even though it's 8:30 in the morning.

Redbeard76 said...

Nachos are like chocolate, they not just for breakfast anymore.

You haven't lived until you've had a hamburger or chicken fajitas for breakfast. Seriously.

Hmmm? Did you say something, Ted?

I wish I had the camera like Kelly. I mean I'm happy with my camera but you know...the Red Sox fan in me NEEDS a good sports photography camera. Love the Lowell/Kielty pictures by the way.

It's a good day when the kids are good huh?

Don't tell me your mind's gone to sleep like feet and hands do some times? For you to not have much to say about Rakes and Trot concerns me about you. YOWZA!!!

Ya know, I'm thinking if you want the good Trot & Rakes stories, you also might have to stop hiding in the closet.

Tell me about it. I was trying to take a nice picture of the full moon a couple nights ago. Even with the zoom my camera was just laughing at me.

Ted could you give me your recipe for potato shuffle again. I missed placed it. Thanks

Stephen - Oh I know. I think my dog is getting tired of me ALWAYS taking pictures of me and then my zoom laughs at me as well. =]. Maybe this Christmas?

I am sad that I received no mention on the photo of Senor Doubles. You know he's my favorite. :)

Stephen, hamburgers and chicken fajitas for breakfast? I mean this in the nicest way, but you are one weird dude, man!

::snaps fingers in front of Dawn's face:: WAKE UP!

Krystle, Kelly is a genius with a camera. She's got a great site. Stephens moon story illustrates how hard it is; she makes it look easy.

Bub, as usual, your weird proclamations have me confused. And Denise, believe it or not, they were normal last night. I just got home, Ang isn't here, and it's just Dad until bedtime. I'm sure there is a story or two in there somewhere.

Stacy, sorry I left you out. I know what you think of Mikey doubles.

Ted - I guess I could say I'm a regular on her site. I just need a camera like her's and I could do some more good than with my "stinky" camera.

Oh, I'm sorry Ted wrong day. When you sew on buttons do you go under over or over under?

Ted D said...

Bub, have I told you that you can really be a dink sometimes?

Krystle, if you use Kelly's pictures, do me a favor and always credit her? NOT accusing you of anything; she's a friend and a lot of people use her stuff and don't give her credit.
